Perfect conditions for cross country racing greeted the athletes at Cruden Farm on Saturday.  Erin Marriner went one better than Bendigo with a silver over a challenging 6km course for the U16 women and had a great tussle with a very good runner from Doncaster.  The U16 men also ran over the same 6km course with Callum Settle and Dash Clarke having their first individual races for the Club.  Both had really good runs in a tough field,  The U14 men raced over 5km and Tom Linnett collected a Bronze to add to his Bendigo silver and Charlie Orpwood had a PB over 5km CC.  Ben Reid was our solo senior in the mens 12km but collected a PB for his efforts.  Anne Lord ran the short course 8km and had a fun day out in the sun.

Tom and Erin will be near the top of their respective age groups for the Champion athlete of the year and the Junior teams are also doing well.

Next stop St. Annes for the Ekidan Relay.
