The opening event for the winter season is the Jells Park CC Relays and we had a good start with our three teams performing very well.  Conditions were cold and a slight breeze and showers made it for a fun afternoon.  The U16 Womens team were led out by Erin Marriner who had a big 31 second PB on last years time, first CC for Ruby and Chloe who filled in the U14s men last year had a massive PB in her first official run for the Club.  The girls were fourth in a very tight race.  The U16 men were led out by new member Callum Settle who ran a great time of 10.31 for the 3k course.  Tom Linnett had big PB on last years run by nearly a minute and Charlie brought the boys home in 5th spot.  Once again in a tight event.

Our senior team welcomed back Carly and Shannon McDade, it was great to see them back on the track.  The bandaid has been pulled off, and with Sonny as the new Club mascot a fun day was had by all.  Ben and Mitch were the bookends and were both close to their best times for the course.
