A different program for the AV Shield competition for this round with a short 60m for the speed spcialists and the classic One Mile.  The weather whie it looked like it could break at any moment held out for the meet.  Jack Field and Finn Cassidy broke the old U14 Mile record held by Tom Linnett but Jack gets the chocolates with his 4;56.60.  Lots of PB's over 60m, that odd 600m which is an awkward one to race and the Mile.  Taleb ran a very fast 60m but the tailwind of +2.5 cost him the Club Record.

The Ringwood Athletic Club caters for male and female athletes of all standards, from Primary School (Year 6) beginners to elite senior athletes. If you are turning 12 this year then the Ringwood Athletic Club is the place for you.  We provide opportunities to participate at a variety of levels in both senior and under-age competition.

At Ringwood you can commence at the standard of your choice and step up to higher levels as you improve.

One of the features of the club has been its development of junior athletes. Many members who joined the Club have gone on to win Victorian, Australian, Commonwealth and Olympic Championships.
