Albert Park Road Race, 1st Gold for the season, 2022 - 2023

The Albert Park road races gave us perfect conditions on a cool and still Sunday morning.  Our Juniors got us away in the first race and Tom Linnett ran a great race for first in the U14 3km to now give him the set of medals for the season.  Callum Settle backed up from yesterday's State LAs CC where he came third to run a PB over the 3km road.  Erin was another PB and 5th place in the U16 women's 3km.

Tom will go to the top of the individual ladders and Erin will be equal 2nd on the women's ladder just 1 point behind 1st.  if my maths is correct.

A big PB by over two minutes for Ben Reid in the Open Mens 10km, Mitch Graham was also a PB.  We spotted our evergreen Lavinia Petrie who was also running the 10km but an injury concern forced her to walk back to the finish.

Athletes have made some moves up the All Time lists for Venue and Distance.  The Junior times were clearly 5 seconds slow and these times are the adjusted times.
